Unsure if this is really an Alpha Strike question or more of a MUL question, but lets' start here.

The Sylph Battle Armor and variants only list VTOL movement. Example: http://www.masterunitlist.info/Unit/Details/8587/sylph-battle-armor-sqd5

I could not find anything in AS:CE to clarify if in Alpha Strike the Sylph can use ground movement. I know in standard BattleTech they have 1 MP of ground movement.

Can Sylph's (or other VTOL battle armor and infantry) use ground movement in Alpha Strike?

No, they have to use a movement type that’s listed on their unit card.
