Which other BT community should I go to to discuss trades?
« on: 13 November 2019, 09:04:57 »
Hi all,

I'm yet another longtime fan reactivated by the Clan Invasion Kickstarter, and I'm looking to trade some OOP maps/minis.

I've checked the forum rules and note that trading here isn't allowed - would someone know which other online BT community/communities I should go to, to post a "trade want/have" list?

Thanks in advance!
Tal

First off, thank you very much for actually reading the rules of the forum before posting. You've made the day of a lot of mods and admins.

That said, you might try BV Traders. It's a store rather than a trading forum, but I do believe they buy used minis, etc, for resale.

If you use Facebook,  there is a battletech trade and sell group there too.

+1 for the the buy/sell/trade group on facebook.  i've had good luck selling there

BV traders is solid. their stock (as far as i can tell) is based on used minis they acquire and so is highly variable (ie check back occasionally). their prices are very fair.

You bought the box set and are ready to expand your bt experience. Now what? | Modern Sourcebook Index | FASA Sourcebook Index | Print on Demand Index

You can also check out Lords of the Battlefield (Dot com) and BattleTech Universe (DOT org), though the latter has been pretty quiet on their Trading board for several months now.   :-\  You have to join each site to trade though.

And as Sartris said, B&VTraders is a Great site as well!

What name and member count should I look for to find the recommended FB group? Is it the international listing?

Odd, I would, yes.  You made sure to answer the questions appropriately right?
