John Hamrahan Ejecting From A Lucifer?

On p. 7 of Spotlight On: Holt's Hilltoppers, it's stated that John Hamrahan ejected from a Lucifer. TRO: 3039 states that the Lucifer has no ejection system. Is either statement in error, or is this simply the result of the Hilltoppers' extensive modifications?
