"Assassinating" the Clan commander's goldfish is hardly the stuff of legend.

P. 48, pdf:

Skill Increase/Decrease Table:

On the Decrease section of the table, change "25-43" to "25-34". This appears to be just a typo.

Page 237, first printing

Sequence of Play.  The step headings repeat numbers 3 and 4, instead of 5 and 6, though the names of the steps are correct.

Current:

Step 3: Combat Phase
Step 4: End Phase

Replace with:

Step 5: Combat Phase
Step 6: End Phase

2021 Second corrected printing, print

pp. 315, 317

Right margins of these pages list chapters from Interstellar Operations: Alternate Eras, not from Interstellar Operations: BattleForce.

Ver.: IO:BF first printing

PP: 53-59

Current: Formatting of current PDF (Checked on CGL account today) still reflects layout color and design of Strategic Operations (purple with blank space border). I just received my print copy which has the correct 'Comstar' layout and background.

Replace: PDF background and layout with corrected print version.

(I've noted this before but reiterating given I just received the print version)
Alas poor Photobucket. I knew him Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.

PDF of Third corrected printing

Bookmarks for ADVANCED RULES, CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE, and PLAYER ADJUDICATION link to the cover.

Missing links for BATTLEFORCE ADVANCED RULES, BATTLEFORCE SPECIAL ABILITIES, STRATEGIC BATTLEFORCE, ABSTRACT COMBAT SYSTEM, CONVERSION RULES, INDEX, and RECORD SHEETS sections & subsections.

The last two bookmarks are named OLE_LINK1 and OLE_LINK2. Both these link to page 275.

ToC sections BATTLEFORCE: STANDARD RULES, BATTLEFORCE: ADVANCED RULES, and BATTLEFORCE: SPECIAL ABILITIES do not link to any page. Everything else links to the cover.

Nothing in the index is linked.

Edit: this was confirmed by Alex_Knight over on Discord that this is an issue with the PDF itself. No ETA at this moment https://discord.com/channels/259122826466820098/1022599378915053678/1130323021232607252

PDF of second and third corrected printings, page 216.

Under "Attacking Formations in an Urban Hex", this passage seems to be in error or left over from some earlier version of the rules:
Quote
Damage is likewise reduced when in an urban hex. Whether the attack comes from another Formation in the same hex or from an artillery or aerospace attack, damage is reduced by the value listed in the Damage Absorption columns of the Strategic BattleForce Urban Table. For example, a Unit in a Light urban hex would take full damage while an Infantry Unit in a Hardened hex would reduce damage by 4.
The damage absorption values mentioned don't line up with those in the table on the previous page, and they don't seem compatible with the rules in the immediately following section, "Attacking Units Inside Buildings".

2021 Second corrected printing, print

p. 31, Atmospheric Facing Changes Table

PROBLEM: the value in Aerodyne DropShip/Small Craft corresponding to Velocity 9 is obviously too high (27 - the same as in Velocity 10 row).

SOLUTION: Change the offending value in Velocity 9 row from 27 to 24.

As a side note - this table is not repeated at the end of the book, which is probably an error, though I suspect it may be impossible to fix due to space constraints.

2021 Second corrected printing

p. 253, Nuclear Weapon Damage to Fortifications Table

PROBLEM: The table has an entry for a nuke, the "Ahab" which is mentioned nowhere else. IO:AE does not mention any such nuke in the section where it lists all the standard nukes on pages 168-171. As far as I can tell this chart has the only instance where the Ahab nuke is mentioned in any of the rulebooks.

SOLUTION: Delete the line with the Ahab nuke.

Second corrected printing
P. 304 Terrorism section
PROBLEM: The first sentence in the body of the section "If the terrorism operation is successful, the production of a planet and its elements are reduced by 25 percent for four game turns." contradicts the sentence that immediately follows it "A successful operation means the targeted world’s industrial output is reduced by 50 percent for a number of turns equal to the MoS of the operation."

SOLUTION: Remove the first sentence.
