So todays fun in Alpha Strike is brought to you by the letter M. for Militia.

Lorcans been looking to take his Generic Militia out in Alpha Strike and I took the Challenge.
On the Table Playing as the Defender he will have.
This comes to exactly 400 PV.
I don't know what Abilities or Skills but most of these are 4's with a couple of 5's and a few 3's for good measure

Warhammer, Catapult, Centuirion, Hunchback
Phoenix Hawk, Falcon, Locust, Wasp
2 hunters, 2 strikers
2 vedettes, 2 harassers
2 packrats, 2 skuklers
skilkers
skulkers
2 guardians
5 platoons foot rifle
2 platoons 2 MG
2 platoons foot SRM

And they shall be facing off against
Pursuit Lance
Flea X2 3 (Blood stalker)
Raven  3
Scorpion 3 (Blood stalker)

Command Lance
Black knight 3 (Blood Stalker)
Shootist
Warhammers (Combat intuition )
Ostsol (Commander)

Medium Battle Lance
Ti sang 3
Phawk 3
Vulcan 3
Vindicator 3
This  too comes to exactly 400 PV

Lorcan is currently working on the Scenario. I'll get him to pop in and add it before the Match.

So thoughts on how this game might go?

I going to give my nod to the Rangers with the pure Mech force.  I think the militia will cause them some pain.

The battle is ended.  Mark will be posting his report soon!

In the meantime, the scenario was in the Capellan Crusades, with the Kingston Legionaires trying to take three objectives held by the militia.  The objectives were evenly spaced along the table, about 12" in from the militia table edge.

An objective could be taken by having only your units within 6" of it for an entire turn. Starting on turn 6, we rolled 1d6 at the end of the turn.  When the turn number + the dice roll totalled 12, the game would be over.
