Field Manual: The Society

The official Wars of Reaving sourcebook has left me wanting for more products that include the Society, this desire eventually gave rise to working on a Society AU with the goal of bringing the Society to 3145. During this process I got a lot of help from other players, it also been very educational. The Technical Readout and Record Sheet bundle had already been completed, and now I present the Field Manual which completes the set goal.

Early brainstorming on this AU started in 2014, initially the progress was very slow but it picked up pace in 2017. The first version of the XTRO came out at the end of 2018, which was quickly followed with an updated version in 2019 with more designs. After that I began work on this Field Manual, which initially went quite well however the first proofreading phase pointed out some valid problems that I found myself unable to fix. Recently this changed as I found the means to fix a number of problems and I found that the format that I previously used for various entries didn't actually work for me, so I experimented until I found something that worked.

Thanks for making more goodness, XTRO: The Society is one of my favorite fan made items.  I'm working through the Field Manual now.

Really, really good, Maingunnery.  And a compelling storyline!

I wonder, will the IS every cop to the realization the Society is nearby?  And will the Society try something and over-reach themselves trying to conquer ComStar or the IS?

This looks really good.  Nice to see a treatment for the Society that they really didn't get canonically.  I've glanced through a bit of it, but I'll have to check it more thoroughly once I have more time.

New Tanis in particular is pretty.

Almost inspires me to do something similar with my Vela Corridor AU, though time and capabilities I have, and the amount needed to properly make one (that's not a 70-page chaotic mess like I've got), don't necessarily intersect.
