There's enough RAC type guns to make that easy enough.
The Tau have plenty that should suit.

The MRM is a different story altogether.

Remember: he pilots a Urbanmech IIC, so...he is the "zippy" one!
Also, the only one of the unit painted up, still. (His 'mech, BTW, has a Swoosh on each foot!)

Might have to replace an UM-60L or 2 with the UM-R80...I would lament the loss of the Meat Cannons, though..

Replacing an A4 is an act of heresy.

I'd say keep the 60L's in every mobile lance, but replace the fourth mech per lance with the TAG-Urbie. Keeping a full Polkadot lance or even expanding it to full company is what makes the TAGs really worthwhile. Of course, the ECMs are good as well.

One option could be to make a specific 'assault' lance of the 60L's, though, tasked with either close assault drops from Leopard or covering the A4's, especially if you expand the force any.

I really do not want to expand it any further. We are entering a time frame where, frankly, anything bigger then a reinforced company is going to seem excessive. In fact, just adding the A4 lance was something I could only justify as "They are support assets, not battlefield assets" With a Broadsword, Leopard(with aerospace bays converted to cargo), and a Hamilcar, the unit also has a dropship presence that would be hard to justify expanding out in the upcoming Golden Age of the Republic. As ridiculous as the unit may seem, I am actually trying to keep it somewhat realistic within setting, and keeping them to Aerodyne Dropships so they can do combat drops..

Then the 'convert the third mech in every combat lance' is probably the only way to make it work.

Although having 'Heavy Hammer' of four 60L's to toss cannon-first at any enemy would be fun. Or seeing the face of the raider lance going to silence the A4 battery by rushing around the 'slow trashcans' and running right into the crossfire of Ack20's... :D

But both of those could be handled with battlefield tasking if the mission or opposition seems appropiate for that.

Well I did ( gasp ) before I mentioned replacing an A4.

But Mara, how's this as a possible revamp?

Code: [Select]
Captain Zippy: Urbanmech IIC

Red Lance
1 UM-60L
2 UM-R63
1 UM-80 TAG

White Lance
1 UM-60L
3 UM-68 (MRM 30 Urbie)

Blue Lance
1 UM-60L
2 UM-70 (RAC/5 Urbanmech)
1 UM-80 TAG

Polka Dot Lance
4 Urbanmech UM-AIV

I kept the classic feel, range of the weapons as close as possible.

In Red Lance it gives the ability of out flanking someone and still contribute damage at range, plus the fact that ECM protects the 20 toter. In Blue Lance, same concept but also hides those RAC/5's as well. Not only these but it allows both lances to TAG, I believe White Lance can handle anything thrown at it, but an inclusion of a UM-80 might allow similar reactions. But this is a proposed solution, not your final anwser.

*hmms* You know, Truetanker, that might work.

And...I still need to order the Urbies to paint up the unit....I really, really do...
Of course, on another level, I want to strip Captain Zippy and repaint it, given how much my painting has developed since
I first painted him...
