I like both sculpts.  but I do like how this one is a little bigger and way more poseable.
I have to agree about the torso pods looking a little long though. looks like it's an easy enough fix though O0

Considering I have not assembled one yet hard to say but if you like I can take a snap shot of that as well.

Na, that's not unnecessary. I was mainly just wondering if the parts looked to be about the same scale. Thanks though.

Ok here you go: Sadly the way the parts are made IF you want to do this it will require a good bit of cutting for the arms. Also the putty didn't work out so hot wasn't using the right type most likely :p

I bought one over a year ago (busy with work and forgot about it for a bit) and I'm pretty sure it didn't come with a base.  Would the base from the 20-758 Cauldron Born work for this?

+1,100. i have 2 of the originals, no major complains (other than the 4 models not surviving combat on the table during two game sessions). i had more troubles with my second Linebacker, mostly with the legs.

Base as in a hex base? If so, a regular hex base should work.

Actually where the feet of the mech are, that base.
