Heat is balanced for everything except the Flamer at close range. I could have gone with MGs but didn't want more ammo.

Usually I think that adding a hatchet is just waste of space but, for warhammer it can only make kicks on the physical attack phase if it lacks a hatchet because it lacks a hand and it doesn't have barrel fist quirk either if I remember correctly. So it's worth considering. It's not my personal taste, though, but everyone has their own.

By the way, instead of dropping a PPC, what about to exchange some close range weaponry with a hatchet and some spare heat sinks, since lost a PPC means it's gonna weaker on longer range but the physical weapons are only worth it on the very close range so it would compete with the close range weapons rather than PPC. Such as dropping the SRM and MLs then replace it with two more heat sinks and bring back the second PPC. Indeed it is not heat neutral but it isn't so hot either.

Perhaps keep two ML and running it with 15 heat sinks is not half bad? For you may shoot down two MLs and a PPC on the next turn, after then you may consider physical attacks afterwards.

A Rifleman can Punch, just weakly (No LLA means 1/2 Damage), and not very well (No Hand means +1 To-Hit, No LLA means +2 To-Hit), so a Warhammer can Punch, just not very well.

Oh, I didn't note that. Still it looks like a valid reason to seriously consider a hatchet if you want any other options than kick on the physical attack phase. With such a penalty you better have a hatchet if you are not fond of just having the option to kick.

Certainly better than Handless Punches with Arms that carry your hardest hitting weapons.
