Ok I was given a gateway m275 laptop to play with ( with out a harddrive)
I gotten it up and running but it almost impossible to find the drivers for everything. Gateway only list the lan /wireless, video chipset drivers but with xp I can't find the mem card reader, the serial pent for the touch screen or the dial up modem drivers. Everywere I go it only links to the places that you have to buy the program to get the drivers ( it claims ). I miss the old days when you could find a recovery iso/ image for the outdated pc, the drivers in support section ( even if it was outdated ). It like it a crime anymore to have something that more than a gen or 3 behind the current level.
