(Also, is it me, or did the mods merge 3 separate threads into this?)

I think we are at four or five merged threads now on this exact issue.   Please, in the future, everyone check to see if there is already a topic extant and active on your subject before starting a new one.

Someone really needs to send a link to TPTB at Harmony Gold with a nice little note.

We are classier than that...somewhat.  ;)
It's not about winning or losing, no it's all about how many chapters have you added to the rule books after your crazy antics.

It's a time paradox...without SkyNet the SLDF sending a Terminator Battlemech into the past, then John Connor Alexander Kerensky wouldn't have been born...

That makes sense, right?

The role the Marauder played in the Russian revolution
« Reply #71 on: 15 November 2012, 20:13:45 »
Don't know if this has already been posted, but I thought it was funny

Friend of mine I grew up with moved to Australia and and we usually have a monthly megamek game, anyways he sent me the following

http://www.theage.com.au/national/education/history-transformed-in-vce-exam-20121114-29ce7.html

Apparently, the VCE is some kind of Australian standardized test.  I visit him every few years and travel the country but haven't noticed the marauder elsewhere....
If the link doesn't work just google the VCE and battletech

Roosterboy'd this will probably merge with the other thread at some point.
The threads merged and thus my original post will now be altered, much like that image!

What I find most interesting is that they peg it as a Marauder and not an Officer Pod from Robotech.

Yes, in a mainstream newspaper, that will cause some collars to heat. What a pity.

Thats funny, i guess the professor putting the exam together was't paying attention to them image.

I find it amusing that other website reporting the story showed a fan-made Marauder II instead of regular marauder.

I guess universities need get their make sure their going to actual galleries websites or something before cruzing the internet.

It's in my head-canon now.

And now I want to create a costume that is an SLDF officer's uniform with Russian stylings from that era.

The coolest thing for me is: my wife found this first and alerted me to it.  She's comming around, even if she won't admit it.

Second thing is that of course, there must have been a Kerensky in that Marauder, who ever it was.
