Well, I was having ok Christmas until I tried to return a Christmas gift that I already had to Books a Million (with the receipt) and they said they couldn’t take it back because the receipt was too old.
Same kind of thing happened a few years back, except then I didn’t have the receipt. I had to go through their main office and mail to get the issue resolved. I did not return to that store for about 3.5 years.
This time, I do not believe I will be returning. Even though they are overpriced at times and the nearest store is some 20+ miles away, my novel/manga business will from now on be with Barnes & Noble, or with Wal-Mart or my flgs. Maybe online if needed.
