The 23rd Arcturan Guards has been my go to Commonwealth unit since the early 90's. Sporting just a company, they are the second most painted unit since my return to the hobby.
These four were the ones that got me back into the hobby... When I opened up my case after 15 years I noticed the white had turned amber (I used polyurethane to seal them) and the epoxy I used on the base was "leaking"... When I striped them (some of the only mechs I ever have) I decided I didn't want three of the same again, and that started me down the modding road.
The 23rd AG was the remnants of a campaign I once ran, with the story that the four mechs above were left behind (intentionally), and their lance commander was trying to first survive and second find out who betrayed them. When I first painted the company Command Lance below, it was all part of the mystery... I still remember the who and why, but I lost my taste to tell the story...
Other mechs include this SDR-5V Spider with blue armor bond (remember the fluff from TRO3025?).
My first attempt at modifying the old F-Atlas
A CN9-AL Centurion
And a BattleDroid Falcon I originally painted for Haku, but bought back from him.
There are two others I've painted, and represent 2 of the 5 mechs that are no longer in my collection.
A AWS-9Q Awesome I did for a charity auction to help a friend.
And a TDR-5SS Thunderbolt I gave to another friend (Grud).
Finally, my one non-Arcturan Guards Commonwealth mini is still partly white... A 3rd Lyran Guards STK-3H Stalker.
