As you may know, we have recently migrated servers. The new machine is substantially more powerful, which has improved the performance of all CGL hosted websites, forums and the BattleShop store. Near as we can tell, there are no major issues, but if you've noticed something out of whack, please post it here.
If someone you know is having trouble accessing the site, the below might help them:
Windows:
Go to Start | Run, or type WinKey-R
Type "cmd", Enter
type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit ENTER
type "ping
www.battlecorps.com" and hit ENTER
If text comes up and says this:
Pinging catalystgamelabs.com [67.192.254.201] with 32 bytes of data:
You're on the new server. If it says [74.205.126.241], you're seeing the old server.
If you want to force yourself to see the new server, open up C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in Notepad, and add this line:
67.192.254.201 catalystgamelabs.com
www.catalystgamelabs.com bg.battletech.com
www.battletech.com battletech.com
www.battlecorps.com battlecorps.com shadowrun4.com
www.shadowrun4.com forums.shadowrun4.com monstersinthesky.com
www.monstersinthesky.com forums.monstersinthesky.com starchallengers.com
