(Research) Semi-Guided Missiles and partial cover
« on: 08 November 2024, 04:16:44 »
Hi folks,

TW p.142 says:
Semi-Guided Missile
When firing semi-guided missiles at any target in range successfully
designated by a friendly TAG (below), the attacker
ignores the target movement modifier (if firing indirectly, also
ignore indirect fire, terrain and spotter movement modifiers).
Once a successful to-hit roll has been made, use the rules for
standard LRMs
to determine the number of missiles that struck
the target, hit locations and so on.

My question is, can semi-guided missiles strike leg locations if fired at a TAG-designated target, that LOS-wise has partial cover? Or are the legs protected from such damage, as per usual partial cover rules?

Thanks
