Overview
The SHD-X3 Shadow Hawk LAM proved a surprise to both Inner Sphere and Periphery military intelligence agents when first observed in Niops Association military formations and Interstellar Expeditions exploratory parties.

Capabilities
The SHD-X3 drops the LRM-5 rack of the older Shadow Hawk in favor of a Beagle active probe, remote sensor dispenser and recon camera, items all useful to both recon units for the Niops Association Militia and to exploration teams with Interstellar Expeditions. Paramedic equipment built into each leg of the 'Mech is useful for both assisting injured soldiers and researchers. The 4-ton bomb bay allows the SHD-X3 to carry extra fuel tanks when working in the exploration or recon mode, bombs when working in fire support roles, or extra rocket launcher packs when serving in a frontline ground combat role. While not a common powerplant, the 220 DAV reactor has parts commonality with the Prowler Explorer Vehicle, used heavily both by the Niops Association Militia and Interstellar Expeditions. Lastly, a whole-head escape pod for the pilot provides greater protection to the Mechwarrior in the event of emergencies.

I like it, are you going to try to blend that into your fanfiction?

I really dig this, a solid and flavorful design.

I don't even know at this point.  Maybe?  In Keg-verse, they're currently in a version of the Battletech universe that more or less follows canon, or at least is dramatically less out there than the one the Keg came from, and it's one that the Militia could use Prowlers and SHD-3H2 Shadow Hawks as their mainstay combat vehicles, supported by SHD-X2s and a smattering of SHD-X3s, with Explorer Corps also fielding the X3s and Prowlers.

I really dig this, a solid and flavorful design.

Thanks!
