Hello,
I am checking to see if people are interested in Fan Funding a new version of the Mad Cat III, it would be the III-X, III-4 and III Eve. The model is based off of Stephen Huda files from the Mad Cat III-Eve.

Link for pictures?

Okay! This was a Collaboration between Stephen Huda and I!
Here are pictures of the 3D models:

So the launchers, right arm and the electronics will be variant bits?
-
I'm definitely interested
-
I'll toss some dosh at it.

Missiles will be integral to the torso similar to the original sculpt. Eve will also have the "Mouth" sculpted right into the torso.
Sensors vary (Arti V/AMS for the X/4 blister and TAG for the Eve). Arms are different as well (obviously!).
-
would it be two blisters, one for the X/4 and then one for Eve, or a combo?
-
That's the plan for right now!
-
I could probably use one for that Sea Fox unit I have been plotting, I'd throw in a few bucks.
-
Stinger...just a recommendation (also open to the financiers that back this), while I get the art is as is...how would everyone feel about trimming down that "over-compensation" of a gun for the right arm? LOL
-
Upgrade! I'll throw some money at it.
Great work guys! 8)
-
I can always find a way to use store credit
-
I'll pass, but best of luck to all of you. I'll reserve my cash for a something that doesn't already have a mini of the same base chassis.
-
I'd probably back this, and I would be OK giving that PPC a bit of a briss!
-
I would support...I would support probably anything. :)
-
I would be in.
But, no variant for the Mad Cat III 2 from TRO Prototypes? I would love that even more :'(
-
I will say, if it's a Stinger design, odds are high it'll assemble cleanly and sturdily.
-
I would be in.

The two doesn't even have an official record sheet though! And the description in TRO Prototypes is not detailed enough to create a record sheet...
-
In.
Mike
-
I would be in... And am very excited!
But I also don't check here enough so someone will probably have to remind to (and how to) contribute.
-
Speck will make a thread officially soliciting contributions. People post pledging how much they will give until the threshold is reached. You will then be sent a PM so your email can be collected and an invoice sent via PayPal. After everyone has paid you will receive a voucher for the webstore equal to the value of your contribution that can be spent on anything.
Then we wait for the sculpt to be slotted in to the schedule
-
If someone could PM when if and when this kicks off so I don't miss it that would be neat.
Thanks.
-
I would invest in it...just let me know when
-
I would be in for a few bucks.
-
I'd be up for more Mad Cat III sculpts.
-
Given it's been about a year. Any updates?
-
I'd be in for it.
-
This is still on hold, not sure if we will go forward with it yet.
