ok, the original scenario uses standard battletech maps, marked with additional stream (river).
do we go that way, or we change the maps?

another one - what are the stats defender force and mech variants?
I think we should use the ones from the classic BT record sheets

meaning it should be:
Crusader CRD-3R
Archer ARC-2R
Griffin GRF-1N
Wasp WSP-1A

I have no clue what the hunter vehicle is, because the only thing I can find is the light tank, which certainly isn't something that is going to be destroyed with any kind of attack.

And for the pilots of the mechs - what are their skill?
I'd go for 4/3 since this is about the average of the Attacker (they got one 5/3)

Question 01
I think you have solved the map question.
Question 02
I think we have agreed http://invisiblecastle.com/ will work.
Question 03
Use the variants you specified to keep it simple for now. Are you choosing defender which deploys first?
Question 04
The Hunter and the jeeps can be destroyed by any shot so record sheets won't matter.

Here is my roll for initiative. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4231921/

1. I asked, because, you might have wanted to use other maps, glad, this is solved.
2. I meant to ask: do we roll who play defender and who attacker. But I'm ok with playing as defender.
3. ok, and yes I'll play defender and deploy today (need to printout record sheets)
4. they might get important - I might for example try to ram with them as a form of attack. If we use them as NPC they will not be included into forces (for the outnumber f.ex)

otherwise we seem to be cool

Ooh, I see they fixed hit locations when under partial cover, nice touch. It's now a good tactic to take cover, chance of having a headshot are same in both cases :)

still deploying, concentrated for a time on prepping the text version of mech stats, that could be posted, edited and kept up to date in the IC thread.

took me more time than I thought, and actually is taking a lot of work to do.
I'll think on automating it, but I can do so while we play.

Deployed.

I may be wrong as these older scenarios are kind of silly, but I think you placed your piloting skills a bit too high. The Dragoons are veterans. Your forces out weigh mine and you have no issues with your mechs.

You propose 5/4? Haven't counted the tonnage. I'd leave the major on 4/3 as a leader, though.

You need to reroll initiative as we had tie.

It would help in the future (when we'll be in the firing phase) if you'd put number of hexes travelled in the move (or even better a total modifer to-hit). also add facing after jump.

Yay, it's moving faster than I thought. :)

I propose that each of us do entire torso twist and weapon shooting phase and heat phase simultaneously and for entire side.

There is a strategic value in making torso twists and declarations in initiative order, but I think we can live without it unless you oppose.

I'll try to post the text versions of the mech record sheets, to keep the updated status of each mech online, but before that we need to store it within the post.

Once we make the final moves, I'll post the updated map in picture.
btw. when you copy the roll - the last option is formatted for forum use, so you don't have to write the results on your own.

I would rather for now keep the strategic method of turned based torso twisting and shooting.

In the other post wipe the big text based record sheet you made and use the room to just record each mech, locations, and total damage per location. If an internal part is damaged just list it under the main location.

Example

Mech

H (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
CT (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
LA (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
RA (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
LT (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
RT (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
LL (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()
RL (Outer Armor) () Internal Armor ()

no problem with taking turn on twisting and shooting. There is no hurry I think.

been thinking on the record sheet, do they bother you?
I'd use the spoiler tags, but somehow they aren't enabled on this forum.

Record sheets are cool if you don't mind writing them out.

The end map is awesome!

What program are you using for that? I am using a PDF of both maps with comments for keeping track of mech locations.

I am using powerpoint, I've pasted pdf images and megamek gifs and move them around.

I don't mind doing the text recordsheet, I can do them for you too, making the new ones is much easier then the first one

I don't think there are any other LOSes available on my part and neither on your part
unless you see any, we can roll the weapons attacks.

You are correct.

Roll away.

I'll make two roll batches.
One batch of two rolls for the Warhammer and another batch of three rolls for the griffin. (One for the POS LRM10 and two for the weapons.)

Use semicolon to separate rolls and if you put 2d6;2d6 don't ask him to roll twice in the number of rolls.

it would help, if you could post the locations as well not only roll.
and once again if you copy the last link it will be formatted, so you don't have to manually type the rolls results - take a look at my rolls, they are copy pasted from the roll page.

Sheet updated, my RL is barely armored by now :/
check that piloting roll, I am not sure - I need to roll above the piloting +1? or below? been some ten years since my last game.

anyway - I guess we can roll initiative for next turn
