The reason why to have a K2 if you're already getting a Marauder and a Warhammer?

Six PPCs is greater than four. 8)

Hah! Truth.

Sartris:  do you have a paint scheme in mind for the K2?

Something I think many of us was to know. Still waiting on that Defender Warship though.

Thinking of my Kickstarter forces that will arrive in wave one:  I'd like to supplement some IWM Valkyries, Phoenix Hawks, and Wasps in there.  I know the Valkyrie was released during a convention wasn't it?  Is there any news on the Reseen being available?

The Classic Valkyrie and Wasp were available at conventions in limited numbers....

The Wasp was actually out, but got pulled due to the Harmony Gold lawsuit...and wasn't put back into distribution. Unsure on when that will happen again.

The Valkyrie however was just about to come out when the suit hit and was placed on indefinite hold. Since then...Anthony updated the back of the miniature, so I'm unsure as to what will happen with the IWM original version...maybe simply update it, but that isn't for me to say.

As far as the Phoenix Hawk...some time soon it will be out, but it hasn't been announced yet. Don't even know if it is planned for this year or the next...there literally has been no word yet.

Seems rather like there's a question regarding whether anything is going to be released this year.

There is...i know what is coming next, but I can't say because they haven't announced, although I'd dare say 100% for sure 2 of the 3 will NOT disappoint. The 3rd...will just depend on if you like the mech. It is a classic, just some are 'eehhh' with it while others think it is a good one.

I'd bet the wasps and valks get re-issued fairly fast after KS wave one is out. Unless they're putting in variant bits, then who knows.

How big is the backlog of orders? I put one into my FLGS at the start of the year, and while I know there was the shutdown, six months is a bit extreme.

Please don't take this the wrong way, it's not a personal remark and I'm not suggesting that this is an inappropriate post.

That said: I would rather not know anything at all than have someone tell me "I know but I can't tell you, tee hee."

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

I was trying to assuage the fears of Money that possibly nothing more was coming out. Wasn't meaning that in ANY way a "tee hee" moment. I don't like that kind of stuff so sorry if it came off like that.

There are things in the works. Some have had unforeseen delays.

I do have some web only releases to add from the backlog this week. Along with last distro release to IWM store.

Cool.

Also, that comment was not intended as any sort of criticism, merely an observation of the state of things this year.

Hey speck!!!
I know it's not BattleTech, but could there be an announcement here about the new Chaos Wars web store when it goes up??
I completely missed the announcement the models were going away and did not get to round out my Troglodytes.

Thanks!!

Would it be possible to have the turrets from the Arrow IV variant Regulator hovertank BT-437 added to the store?

Commando is on the list to do, it will be a part breakdown of the box set pose, so some options will be there.

Any of the TRO golden century units getting new sculpts or alt weapons?

Speck, with the KS Wave Two re-opening, can we get any sort of projection for the next year's quarterly mini schedule?  Might determine if I buy more lance packs or wait to get a metal Marauder.

Because I do not need as many Wasps (or was it Stingers?) as I do Marauders.  I already noticed I had a real lack of IS & Clan light mechs compared to meds & heavies since TT does not use recon typically and if I DO need that specialist I typically take a vehicle.  But the Marauder & Warhammer packs come with Wasp, Stingers and Valkyries IIRC which are not designs I really need that many of for play.  Use them more in MM than I ever have on table top.

With that said, my recent IWM request through my local store included a Ostscout and Gunslinger Mongoose . . . and I bought a old Mongoose off someone else.  Which means when the ComStar pack comes in, I will have 3 Mon . . . geese?

Yeah, I am very interested in knowing what is coming down the pipeline now that the First Wave has shipped.  Wasps/Stingers/Valkyries/Phoenix Hawks would be awesome!

Any news Speck?

I think a bunch of us are hoping for the running pose in the official art.  Maybe some day.
