I finally got mine from GenCon done today (thanks to GhostBear's generously thinking of me!) and trust me- it's worth it. The detail on the back of the legs is a bit disappointing, but everywhere else it's very well done, nicely detailed despite it's size. As for that size, it's something to behold- it's roughly the size of a mapscale Union in 'footprint'.

REALLY wish there was a way to get parts for it separately... the Gauss mounts would be AWESOME artillery mounts.

YES! Oh how I have been waiting for this. I went to Origins to get one but was one day too early.

Been waiting for them to appear on the webstore ever since. Time to spend some money! (need some other things too) [drool]

You know what? Sure, why not.

I didn't want to do a Shadow Division 'fade' on mine anyway due to the size and odd shapes, and regular WoB-white would be pretty boring. So yeah, charcoal grey with luminescent orange is a great idea instead.

...I won't be working on mine for a while until I'm done moving and all, but when I do get to it... :-\

Yeah, same reasons here. I hadn't yet decided what colors I was going to paint mine, but I was damned sure I would not put a ****** white scheme on it, and I'm not a big fan of the ShadowDiv fade either. Not entirely sure how I'm going to do the glowy bits just yet, but dark grey overall sounds like it'll be nice and imposing.

If I were going to paint that scheme, which I just might should an Omega come my way soon, I'd interpret it as a Shadow Division. It's on the dark side, but still looks like a fade to me.

Heh... er, NO. ;)

The 'footprint', as it were, the area that it would require in the foam without breaking parts off and such is really about the same, give or take, as the mapscale Union. It's freaking BIG- easily dwarfs the previously largest Mechs in my collection like the Archangel or Deimos.

Ordered mine, plan on giving it a desert camo scheme. I know trying to camouflage something that big is ridiculous but the WoB is going to need all the help it can get!
