So trying the new 47.2 version and I tried to deploy a hold the line mission.
One of my units is a 30 ton VTOL - Cobra VTOL Transport (Standard) to move Battle Armor around.
When trying to enter the mission I get the following error:
The following units could not be deployed:
Cobra VTOL Transport (Standard) (This vehicle requires a crew of 3)
The chopper only has a pilot and a gunner, so maybe something changed? I go to add a second gunner, but when attempting to reassign the third gunner the VTOL is not in the list of vehicles I can assign the gunner to.
This sure seems like a bug, is anyone getting this type of issue?
Also minor thing but the Hold the Line mission wants me to destroy 1/3rd of the enemies, while keeping 1/2 of my units intact. For some reason I thought that it was a race to 50% for both sides in the past, but now I am questioning my memory.

For the latter, got pilots with skills such as Strategy? Those can change the odds in your favor.

I didn't know that strategy could do that.
I need to tell my pilots to stop being so strategic, want to blow up more enemies to get more salvage :)

Virtually everything pilots spend XP on has some benefit, such as Leadership. Good gunners help on the field, but a few ranks in those other skills can win the battle before it happens. :thumbsup:

Hold the Line is definitely an asymmetric scenario per AtB rules: the attacker needs to destroy 1/2 the enemy units, the defender needs to destroy 1/3.
