1)   The rules governing how a tracked QuadVee (IO, p.133), in vehicle mode, deals with a critical hit to a Tracks slot appear in Total Warfare (TW, p.143).  Does a QuadVee constructed with wheels follow the exact same rules?  Meaning does it reduce Cruise MP by quarter for each Wheels slot that takes a critical hit?  And do Anti-'Mech attacks against the unit receive the -2 to-hit modifier?

2)   Is the maximum tonnage for a wheeled Quadvee 100 tons?

1) Yes.  Apply the +1 cruise bonus for wheels first, then apply a cumulative 1/2 1/4 MP penalty for each wheel slot hit.  Apply the -2 to-hit modifier for swarm attacks.

2) 100 tons.

I would just like to confirm your ruling.  Under "Tracks" (TW, p.143), it states "Tracks provide Track MP equal to the ’Mech’s Walking MP, but do not provide a corresponding Running MP. Actuator critical hits do not reduce tracked movement, but a critical hit on a track—or the loss of a leg containing a track—reduces the Track MP by half for a humanoid chassis (or by a quarter for quad chassis designs)".

Your ruling currently doubles the penalty for a critical hit to a Wheeled QuadVee versus that of a Tracked QuadVee.  Did you use the rules for Bipedal 'Mechs?  The Quad rules are in the parentheses.

Also do these rules round normally?

Monthly Bump #1.  The only other useful information on this subject is under the BattleForce rules for QuadVees (IO, p.206-207).  Under Damage and Critical Hits, it states "In both modes, QuadVees suffer damage and critical hits as a BattleMech.  Unlike vehicles, QuadVees do not check for Motive Systems Damage under any circumstances".  The QuadVee wheels are not documented anywhere, unlike Tracks (IO, p.35).  Wheels are usually more fragile than Tracks, but perhaps QuadVee Wheels are all HarJel filled?
