What's the latest on gaming mats?

I vaguely recall that Hotz is out for the count. I don't know if that's true, but I'm looking for a good solid hex mat. Best would be a solid flocked mat that has a nice natural grass look, but I also have my eye on some vinyl or neoprene large format mats.

I got a Neoprene mat form Steel Warrior he has a Hex mat that is made by Deep-Cut studios.  I am happy with the Desert heck mat and need to order a grass one soon.
