Friday Night Battletech in Roselle, IL (Chicago NW suburbs)

FRIDAY NIGHT BATTLETECH: Come get some, Mechwarriors! Friday night at Grognard Games in Roselle we will be playing both Alpha Strike and Classic Battletech, starting at 7PM. New players are always welcome and no experience is needed; this is a weekly open game so consider yourself invited.

For Alpha Strike: bring 200 points Inner Sphere, Clan, or combined and you can drop right into the big table game.
For 1v1 or 2v2 Classic, bring 6k BV 2.0 of mechs (Clan Invasion and beyond) and your favorite maps.

If you don't have stuff of your own and just want to try it out, we have plenty of mechs, record sheets, and gear for you to use. We hope to see you there!

Update: We had a great time last Friday and we're doing it again this week - Alpha Strike and Classic both kick off at 7:00pm at Grognard games in Roselle. We had two tables of Alpha Strike between ten players, and one big table with five Classic players, so you can definitely get in whatever kind of game you'd like to try. Update 2: Friday nights are rocking in Roselle! This week's main Alpha Strike table battle will be a river crossing defense against a pirate landing. 7:00pm start time, bring 200 points of Inner Sphere, Clan, or combined. No experience needed and new players are always welcome. Last week we had 20 players at four tables (3 Alpha Strike, 1 Classic) and SIX new players. It's a great time, and a great time to be a mechwarrior. We hope to see you there!

It sure is! Every Friday night at Grognard's in Roselle. Alpha Strike main table (200PV, any era) starts at 7:00pm. We typically have 1-2 tables of Alpha Strike and 1-2 tables of Classic. Drop in to play any time, no experience needed.
