Why not?

Intelligent Mega-Fauna, would explain the Syberian Dino-Drones as they see it.

Also the various emulations of Dino Riders, as the Mega Fauna strap on Syberia arms and armor.

Dino Squad could be their attempt to micronizing themselves into humanoids to explore more of the Nebula.

Don't think we should look into every Saturday morning cartoon for inspiration, Biker Mice from Mars and/or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would likewise be a little out of place... maybe save it for a Clan Spaniel book for in universe cartoons...

Did anyone bring up the idea of a Lylat System Star Fox style world?  One populated by evolved animal demi-humans?  So, more than just Dinosaurs, but cat, rabbit, bird and other folk as well.  Basically, KritterKTech Made real in the BTu via the CalNeb.

If not, well, this is my adding it to the suggestion list.

If yes, then this is my added vote for it.

I could only come up with one that wasn't already brought up by Herb in the earlier round up

StarSeige/EarthSiege world: Humans living in a theocratic technocracy where at best they have some Dropships as their "losTech" which they don't have the scale to build more, because most of their industry were reconfigured for Battle Armor as per their Emperor.
Put a focus on Battle Armor and maybe Protomechs, add in a slightly more advanced version of the Blue Shield PPC damper for Mechs as a overall Mech shielding like in the game.

Star Seige and Earth Siege had some interesting Mech designs, and an interesting story.  It was effectively humans versus AI, right?  Weren't they made by the same people that did the MechWarrior II and HeavyGear games?

Kinda wished someone would've designed minis from the Hercs.  That would be fun on TableTop.

Star Siege and Earth Siege were made by the same studio that made Mechwarrior 1, not 2.

More or less, also throw in human consciousness uploaded into robot brains that can be put into fleshy human bodies, effectively giving you immortality.
Granted that part is way past Battletech's tech levels, but giving every Mechwarrior VDNI or something would be neat.

Wasn't one of proposed future that was scrapped having one of the Word of Blake Manei Domini elite having achieved that?

There's that art piece with the quadriplegic Manei Domini hooked into the cockpit, effectively cyber-slaved to their mech's interface cockpit.

Wanna say a Vanquisher, scene had techs trying to remove them either to service or interrogate.

They were pretty banged up, picture was black and white.

Will show how a cute little Space Squid toon escaped from the Nebula and caused the "Fortress Wall". How it giga-quadtripled in size when hit by FASAnomics and a steady diet of cat girls...

Have Space Whales been mentioned?

Come to the ____ System to see the magnificent space whales during their migration. But you better arrive before Friday, Smarch 13th or you won't be able to jump in without risk of colliding with one.

Yeah?  But, what about a digitized populace, a la the Overmind and Lord Dredd from Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future?

I'd call it a step beyond the matrix, although I'm not even sure the minds are in an active VR in that setting.  They're just stored away for another day.  Although JMS did suggest that the Overmind was planning to simply press delete once all of humanity had been collected.

I always thought that they were used to power what Dredd created.  Not in a literal sense, but in an operational sense.  Not exactly Matrix-controlled, but the will of the digitized person was enslaved for the mechanics of the AI to function.  Kind of like a mechanical Kett Chosen.

This made the universe even darker for me whenever the group decimated the ground troops, as they were literally killing the humans they were trying to save.  And either way, the Overmind at least partially wins the engagement.

I may need to dig out my dvd compilation and watch it again, because it's been a long time.  So, some details are unclear for me.

Regardless, there are also a lot of digitized 'Arks' where a human population is being preserved in a digital fashion, or in a VR system.
