Awesome stuff, mate. :) Especially love the Pillager. What does it bear? :)

But, one thing - you might think about renaming the file for the Ti Ts'ang.. ;)

Your skills have improved a lot since TRO 3085. Your XTRO mechs are much better and it looks like it have been done by another artist because you have improved. Congratulations!!

BTW... great nose art in the Barghest! [rockon] [rockon]

How are you doing clean up if I may ask? Digital program like Illustrator? Or do you ink your drawings and then shade in digital?

Thanks guys!

Akalabeth, I hand-ink all my images before scanning and then digitally shading them in
Photoshop with a tablet. I'm not as fast/talented as some of the other BT artists like Plog,
Brent, and Chris, but I absolutely love drawing mecha so I'm sure speed will come
with time. Shading with markers is fun too, but find the tablet to be more...

therapeutic.  ;)

Oh I take it you use those comic-pens, that cost like 20 bucks a pop? So that's how people get the mechs styled as they are.
You should save up for a cintiq. If the tablet is therapeutic, a cintiq would probably be heaven

Actually, I'd vote for an Intuos over a Cintiq myself. Cheaper, and actually a bit more versatile once you get over the "hurdle" of not seeing what you're drawing.
The one, the only, the unnecessary Falchion!

Sounds like a pretty big hurdle, though I'd have to investigate it myself

It's just another form of multitasking. All of my digital work is done on a Bamboo Fun and I don't think they turned out that badly.

Oh it's just a tablet.
Well, it's certainly the more affordable choice. But I must say, that from working in a professional environment, in my experience those people tasked with a heavy amount of drawing are always given cintiqs whereas everyone else who generally does less drawing has waccom tablets. And also everyone I've spoken too who has used one or the other has preferred the cintiq (though of course not it's pricetag)

Nope, nothing that fancy. I bought a like new, but used intuos 3 for $150 and use the basic pen set that came with it.

The cintiq is certainty an awesome looking tool, but not something I've been able to test. I don't really feel limited by my current tablet though.

The cintiq has one flaw that I can think of, and it's that do to the distance between the actual monitor and the drawing surface, your line will always be a little off. It's something that an artist can get used to, though.

Of course, then there are the people at my school that think they're artists because they use the school's cintiq to trace instead of learning how to draw.

Anyway, enough on tablets. You have a great website, clean and simple. I didn't realize you did the TRO art for those 'Mechs. If I may give a word of advice on your site, though, I'd suggest increasing the contrast a little to make it easier to read.
