Request: Hover/Flying Bikes?
« on: 12 May 2022, 11:08:37 »
Well, I know small VTOL doesn't supports bycycle upgrade, but anyway a small VTOL can be a flying bike.

I have little idea for this so can you make something useful? I don't want something for combat(such as hover/VTOL bike for battle armor), but just want to see something for leisure. Since I have no experience for real bike so it is hard to imagine one. At first, how heavy is enough to be called for a bike??? Around 200~500kg?

I don't care for the cost, because who consider such a luxury should be able to pay for this anyways. Just... can you make it to have at least two seats?

probably looking at a hover-bike, and around 1000Kg, will play with the idea later and see what i can come up with

Thats... somewhat heavy? It seems that smaller car in our era are slightly lighter than a full ton. Although being hover/vtol can makes an excuse for this....

alright, so it actually took about 1500Kg to do it right simply because the need for armor and fuel as well as being able to, you know, carry a PA(L) which is itself 400kg here's what i came up with:

Then would these the viable sportcar? If 800~1,000 kg is fine then what about the heavy one among them?

Perhaps, it may fit with the metropolis? Its maximum speed is not so high enough but hey, it is FLYING. I don't think that something flying that can hold up to two person needs to be so fast. And consider the advantage of flying it would be faster than most ground car anyways.

My current hoverbike design. It's a civilian version of a military bike that I use for mechanized infantry. I did it by hand, so there might be a mistake somewhere, but I'm pretty sure I'm spot on after the amount of civilian vehicles I've done for my game universe.

Whoops. I used an older sheet, so that should be motorcycle on it. Monocycle felt a bit cheesy, considering it's hover anyway.

That seems quite useful despite of its very low cost.... Perhaps the slower version can be used for urban area as well.
