How different are these ATM 9?
« on: 06 February 2021, 22:11:47 »
Is there any difference between Puma E ATM 9 and Gladiator E ATM 9?

I can't tell from the pic on the site, and I'm going to be magnetizing some of my KS omnis. Wondering which to get for the Puma E

The Gladiator pod (OP-034) is square, and shoulder-mounted so its underside has a slight concavity.

The Puma pod (OP-067) has a flat bottom, but is rectangular.

The mold offset on the gladiator pod is nasty - hopefully it isn't typical.

I ordered three of the gladiator pods (One for a gladiator, two for an adder)

one had a basically-not-there offset, the kind you can barely see and won't catch a fingernail; the other two are perfect. All three are usable.

I ordered the Adder pod to make a Timberwolf E, found no problems when I looked at them years ago.
