This makes me wants to see the AoW Marik Battalion, and the 3145 Jade Falcon....Cluster, I'd imagine. Kinda curious to see how homogenized units were for the Houses pre-Succession Wars when they only hade a half-dozen chassis or so available, and very curious to see just how combined-arms everyone's favorite sticks-in-the-mud are these days.

Any idea of there's even a remote chance those lists will see future release?

I almost feel like, once the AS update is through, fishing through all the "crap" TW 'mechs to find some of the  jewels that are out there...

Because even 1 damage is noticeable in AS, anything that isn't totally unarmed can't be "crap". And if it is unarmed, that Ostscout is still dressed as a small child, standing motionless in the giant replica grogery aisle, and staring at you. You cannot see its friends, and you cannot hear yours.

Inferior to the WTH-1 certainly, but crap? I'm not so sure. You're probably still looking at 2 damage out to long range on a fairly mobile platform that's probably reasonably durable. You lose the LRM special(IF too?), but that's still some solid fire support. Use that maneuverability to find a nice set of woods on a ridge or something. Once you're there, open the hatches on those enhanced boobs 3050 gave you, and start lobbing until the cows come home.

Actually the WTH-2 is arguably superior to the WTH-1.  It loses the OV value, but bumps IF up another point and is one point cheaper to buy.

Nah, it's Enhanced LRMs that take it in the shorts, IMO.  Extended LRMs are a help for aerospace units, since they get Extended range.  (And IS birds need all the weapons that can do that they can get)

Yeah, it was the diamonds in the rough I was curious about... most designs that have an overreliance on single damage weapons kind of went eh.  Sure the Hollander's 2/2/2 damage looks nice, but in TW it's scary because that one hit could chop your head off and be the end of it.  Same thing for the 4F Blizkrieg and it's dad, the 3F.  Sure 3 damage is great and short and medium on the AC, but it's just scarier in TW when that is making gaping holes instead of just sanding armor off.

Yeah, saw that.  Sadly just about every force I might be like, "Oh maybe" I already have the miniatures laying around!
