Shadow Hawk LAM Basing?

Holy cow, this thing is a beast, in fighter or 'Mech mode.  How the heck do you get either on a hex base?

Durr hurr hurr.  :D

Seriously, though, the feet are far enough apart on the SHD-X2 mini that the standard hex base basically fits in between.  It's like I'm going to need to build a platform to put it on that goes on top of the hex base.

Well you could make a jumping Mech (mounting the mini on jumping exhaust), this would require some paperclips and a lot of putty.

I went with an XL base. No way it was fitting on a standard hex (same thing for most of the LAMs, really).

Shadow Hawk LAM, yeah.  Like the Mk. 1 LAMs published in TR3085, they don't look near-identical to their non-LAM progenitors for multiple reasons.

To each their own.  I'm not a fan of most of the Project Phoenix ones, but I definitely like the new LAM art, especially the Shadow Hawk LAM.

It’s from 2010 so it wasn’t allowed to look too shadow-hawky. No comment on the art / sculpt - just demonstrating you can *mostly* fit one on a standard hex

Hey Gio, if you need one of the flat XL hex bases from IWM, I can spare a couple.
