For me the Orion ON1-H is perfectly designed. I love this sculpt and would like to see more Mechs designed like it. It has a fantastic amount of detail, only a few pieces, and there is no guessing as to what piece goes where; all of the pieces connect to each other in a different way. There is no confusion. Some people might decry the lack of "poseability" but for me it isn't a problem. I don't want to have to spend a hour cleaning up pieces, figuring out where they go or using tweezers to put small pieces together. It is too much of a hassle. Plus, I would say take a look at the multi piece Mechs up on Camospecs. Most of them are configured in a static pose anyway.
The Mech versions of the Spectral LAMs are the exact opposite of the Orion and a perfect example of what I dislike. They have so many pieces that you need instructions to put them together. Sure they look great in the end but I buy the mechs to supplement my gaming experience. If putting them together becomes to much of a chore, then I won't buy them.
Just my thoughts. I'm sure some will disagree but the ON1-H is perfect.

Do you happen to have pics? I liked the art in the TRO but i haven't seen the mini.

Well, that looks like an Orion.
Actually pretty cool, evokes the feel of 3025-era minis but manages to look like a... well, Primitive.
Probably need to get a collection of Primitives at some point...

They are all very well done.

Yup. I love the primitive Wasp; it's far superior to the Unseen and - especially - the Phoenix model.

Bang. That and the Banshee are just wicked. And the art for the primitive Dervish. And the Longbow.
-
the other thing is that this puppy can fit as an "Also Works as" for the ON3-MX and 3M thanks to the 10 missile tubes and the bulkier body

Happy you guys enjoy it. Hope we get to do the primitive Crossbow and Emperor. Dak has the Swordsman ready.
-
That emperor would be sweet. I like the new orion.

Both of those would become must have purchases.

Starting to think I need to get the primitives and use them as their equivalent 3025+ versions. They’re looking great

All you need is a SRM2 pack for the leg for the Wasp, just customized one.
You can make a passible GOL-1H from the PP release as well. Use the 4H, mount 2 of the box launchers instead if the round ones on the top, then add a barrel to the RT and block the hole on the left. Adding the 2 torso MGs is a visibility option.
