Svartalfa stats block

Error: The Svartalfa has 7 points of armor for the main gun, but according to The Wars of Reaving, a 14-ton Proto may only have 6 points of armor for the main gun.

Recommendation: Change Main Gun armor to 6 and add one point to the Legs or Torso.

Error:  Handheld Weapon Configuration
           Light Anti-Infantry Weapon (6 tons)
Weight of Vehicular flamer is listed as 1 ton.

In TechManual the weight of a flamer is 0.5 ton.

Possible Correction: Add 1 more MG, or 0.5 ton armor

TRO:Prototypes, pdf and Printed version, page 78 - Vidar Heavy Defense Tank

Manufacturer's name is listed backwards, Bjorn and Benson.

Correction: Change all entries for the company to Benson and Bjorn.

Note: Newer Publication Objectives: Clans also lists company as Benson and Bjorn (pp. 32 & 38)

TRO: Prototypes, Jihad Technology Advancement Table (p. 206):

The Small Aerospace Cockpit is listed as "IS/Clan" despite being IS only in Tactical Operations. Unlike the entry for the Small BattleMech Cockpit right in the next row following, there is nothing to indicate that this is a deliberate change, so either the "/Clan" part is in error or there is at the very least another asterisk missing (as well as potentially a Clan introduction date, since the "~3081" listed for the old/new class advance doesn't inherently tell us anything about that).

Hello,

That's not an error. The data presented is as intended.

Thanks,

Minotaur P2, should be at 267 BV instead of 266

Calculated by hand.

Code: [Select]
Defensive BV

2.5 x 45 (total armor) = 112.5
1.5 x 21 (total IS) = 31.5
(31.5 + 112.5) x (1.2 + 0.1) = 187.2
TOTAL: 187.2

Offensive BV
19 + 19 (2 iHSL) + 1 (mag clamps) + 39 (SRM-4) + 1.6 (320 kg of ammo ÷ 1000, x 5 BV) = 79.6
79.6 x 1.00 (speed factor) = 79.6
TOTAL: 79.6

187.2 (defensive bv) + 79.6 (offensive bv) = 266.7, round up to 267

Procyon (Quad), should be at 237 BV instead of 205

Calculated by hand.

Code: [Select]
Defensive BV
2.5 x 30 (total armor) = 75
1.5 x 16 (total IS) = 24
(75+24) x (1.3 + 0.1) = 138.6
TOTAL: 138.6

Offensive BV
21 + 21 (2 ap gauss rifles) + 21 (srm-2) + 2.4 (ap gauss ammo) + 0.3 (srm ammo) = 65.7
65.7 x 1.5 (speed factor) = 98.55

98.55 (offensive BV) + 138.6 (defensive BV) = 237.15, round down to 237

"More punch is provided by a
traditional heavy large laser, while three medium pulse
lasers provide accurate close-range fire."

Change "traditional heavy large laser" to "improved heavy large laser"

Now that I've finally gotten around to it...
Svartalfa should be at 524 BV instead of 540.
Calculated by hand.

Code: [Select]
Defensive BV
2.5 x 65 (total armor) = 162.5
1.5 x 36 (total IS) = 54
(162.5 + 54) x (1.2 + 0.1) = 281.45
TOTAL: 281.45

Offensive BV

5 (machine gun) + 37 (medium chem laser) + 37 (medium chem laser) + 118 (streak SRM-6) = 197 weapon BV
0.25 (250 kg machine gun ammo, divided by 1000 = 0.25, multiplied by 1) + 5 (1 ton medium chemical laser ammo) + 14.4 (600 kg SSRM-6 ammo, divided by 1000 = 0.6, multiplied by 24) = 19.65 ammo BV
(197 + 19.65) x 1.12 (speed factor) = 242.648

281.45 (defensive BV) + 242.648 (offensive BV) = 524.098, rounded down to 524
