AeroSpace Fighters from 1st edition AeroTech
« on: 12 September 2011, 10:43:31 »
I would like to ask a question about the AeroSpace Fighters from 1st edition AeroTech.

It always seemed a little weird to me that FASA included the "House" ASF designs in Technical Readout: 3025, and miniatures were made for them, but there was never a Technical Readout that included the Samurai or the six "generic" ASF designs from 1st edition AeroTech, even though you could get the Samurai as a miniature since the days of Ral Partha Enterprises.

Now my question is:  Since Iron Wind Metals is apparently making some of the AeroSpace Fighters from 1st edition AeroTech (i.e. the Thunderbird, Eagle, and Lightning designs), do they have plans to eventually make them all?

I think that many players who collect Periphery forces would be interested.

Just making sure of something: you are aware that the AT1 fighters were released in TRO format in TRO: 3075? The Samurai was featured in TRO: 3039.

Nicest writing compliment ever: I know [redacted] doesn't like continuity porn, but I do, and you sir, write some great continuity porn! (MadCapellan)

3055 rocks! Did so when I was a n00b, does so now.

And the Samurai is Unseen.

But there is a Reseen model.

@Brother Jim:  Yeah, I know.  I bought two each of all the Unseen in 1996, right when FASA lost the lawsuit and Ral Partha Enterprises was reduced to making them "under the radar" for people who could remember the stock numbers.  The trouble with the Samurai is that I never knew where it was statted, although I eventually (years later) got around to buying Sorenson's Sabres and found it there.

I think that the Reseen Samurai looks okay, but if Catalyst has rights to Crusher Joe and Dougram again, we may yet see the Unseen Samurai again... 8)

A: Unless somebody did something they really weren't supposed to do, they wouldn't have done that.

B: Please check the most recent list of Unseen, found here under Rule 8

Reason for edit: Came off a little harsher than I meant initially.
