Design Challenge: Robotic mech bonanza

Here's something for inner sphere mech designers, in this scenario you are a mech designer who is tasked with designing a unmanned mech for use in support of planetary militias. you are to keep the system's cost relatively low as possible due to them being considered by your company as disposable for security usage within the company. You In universe will get a raise if you design said Drone mech to be able to piss of clanners.


Rules:
Must use either a robotic cockpit or a Drone Operating system.
Must not weigh more than 55 tons and no lower than 10 tons.
Cannot boat a single weapons system.
Must use inner sphere technologies.
Era is Dark Ages to Ilclan.
Must be a quadrupedal mech design.
Optional requirement: can include an ECM suite of your choice.
Optional Requirement:Can be a omnimech.

The Adhnúall was developed by  the WoB Militia at their Devil's Peak Production Site as an escort Quad Mech for Heavy and Assault 'Mechs. It makes use of C3i, GECM, BAP to network with others of its "Pack" to provide thorough coverage to detect and eliminate threats.

Armament is an (IS) ERPPC backed up by Front Leg mounted SPLs for anti-infantry, and a pair of AMS for anti-missile work.

Very few of these Robotic 'mechs actually produced, with those that were taking part in the defense of Devil's Peak in the final days of the Jihad, where they did rather well all things considered.

By the Dark Ages most IS powers have at least some capabilities to manufacture a bit of Clan-spec tech... but I digress

What means cannot boat a single weapon system? Is it prohibits to put only one weapon and say good to go(like as add a snub-nosed PPC as the sole weapon on it), or only spamming a single type of weapons(only use standard medium lasers and no other kind of weapons, for example), or only use a single group of weapons(for example only use PPC, only use lasers, or only uses LRMs, etc)?

Why it must ban bipedal explicitly? Robotic is effectively banned to use bipedal already(that is actually not banned in the construction rules but its pathetic piloting skill makes you have to stick with quadrople) but it seems that drone doesn't havr much issues in using bipedals.

when I mean by boating I mean medium laser or LRM-5 Spam for example bigger and heavier weapons like the gauss rifle are a case by case basis.

This appears to be a side affect of the Necromo Nightmare Halloween product. The idea of using biped mechs (and the abysmally poor piloting skill of said robotic bipeds) came from that book and got folded into Interstellar operations.

I wonder that it is cheap but...

It is designed to be a drone mech that is provide support fire. It have weird combination of boosted slave as well as ECM, but that's because even if the line of communication is cut by ECM bubble(you know it is possible to cut the line outside of its own ECCM bubble) and make it inert its C3 is still functional and threaten the enemy.

Note that its jump jet generates more heat than the normal jump jet. You may overheat the mech if you jump and alpha strike for some turns.

A disposable autonomous unit intended to supplement planetary militia forces as a patrol unit and force multiplier. Damn.  I need five egg/dome-shaped 'Mechs that mass under 55 tons.



Red one on the far left is an UrbanMech, yellow one on the far right is a Hornet, OstScout works for the green one in the middle, but I can't think of suitably-shaped 'Mechs in the 55-and-under tonnage range for the other two.

As big as purple and blue are, why not go to 60 tons and make them Ostsol and Ostroc?

This appears to be a side affect of the Necromo Nightmare Halloween product. The idea of using biped mechs (and the abysmally poor piloting skill of said robotic bipeds) came from that book and got folded into Interstellar operations.

Honestly, I feel like I got that from somewhere else. But the reasoning is simple: There are penalties for driving a Mech without a neurohelmet interpreting human brainwaves for optimum stabilization and balance. Without the human component to interpret, the machine should thus be less balanced. If the computers could do it all by themselves, neurohelms would be all but unnecessary--at least as they are generally described. Building drones as quads helps mitigate that, given them an edge over their bipedal equivalents.

Are there any existing rules to try a reverse cyborg route? Play with Manei Dominei Tech?
Think Drone/Robot Core, but with Grafted Biological Components such as, Animal or Human Brain Tissue. Think Brain in Jar or Cube of Brainmeat like the Robotic 790 Drones use from the Sci Fi TV Series LEXX.

Would you be able to use multiple conventional Robot/Drone Systems in a Tripod and Stack the Piloting Bonuses?

Or use Dual Cockpit and use 2 Robot/Drone Systems?

That way you can integrate Pilot Bonuses via Neurohelm or DNI etc.

If not, then only AES to enhance PSR seems viable.

This would be really tricky.  You are basically having to connect the computer to the various nerves in the living body, all sorts of microscopic connections, and trying to keep the living body from dying in the process.

Contrast that with connecting a computer to a mechanical body.  You can test each component, the connections are labeled, and you can do some of the connections in the afternoon, put it away at 5pm, then continue the next morning.
