Same here, Flashman has always been a favorite mech, but the current mini makes me not want to field it.

Are we fully fundicated yet for the rescupt and varient bits?  If we are coming up short I can probably throw a little more money at the Flashman.   ;)

Will I get yelled at if I asked for upper & lower legs in one piece, with separate feet?

The arms would in this case work well with separate upper & lower pieces, given good post-and-hole attachments.

My personal obsessions aside, that looks extremely sharp.

You know, at the beginning of this thread I was wondering why we were resculpting the Flashman. Having now seen the orthos of this, I am glad it has been done. Looking Damn good.

THIS!

is exactly what I have been going through with this entire fan funding process!

From "meh, I'll kick in and support the community..." to "how many of the inferior sculpt will I have to replace now?"

This looks fantastic. I am especially a fan of how the legs are turning out.

My one suggestion would be to make the connector between the shoulders and gun pods a little bit less squared off. The original illustration makes it look like they are ball jointed, allowing for a lot of flexibility in how it holds the guns. The arrangement in your (excellent) ortho looks like it would hold them pretty rigidly at right angles to the body.

I'm guessing were looking at Upper Legs, Lower legs and Feet, Body, shoulders and arms. Maybe about nine parts? This is going on the various shades of the drawing of course. I do like how it will look. I like the Parade Ground look or the stand and fire look myself. To many pieces just means to many weak points to be broken when someone picks it up to look at it.
