Since we have threads for Arrow and The Flash already, it seems apt to set one up for the third CW series set in the same universe: DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

And here's a first glimpse of the main cast.

Hmmm... Well as much as I wish they had been more creative than White Canary I suppose it really couldn't be helped.  It will be interesting to see how they do actually convince Snart.

Nice Time Masters shout-out, though I will go to my grave thinking that would have been a much better name for the show.

Vandal Savage!

Interesting that we see Martin Stein, see Firestorm in action, but still no Robbie Amell in the cast?

Disappointed that they're using the Lazarus Pit to bring back Sara Lance. Since time travel will be involved, I was really hoping she'd have been snatched out of the timestream just before her death and would always have that hanging over her as something she knows will happen.

We didn't get a lot of it in this trailer but based on the little we did see I'm optimistic that Hawkgirl's flying SFX will be much, much better than Hawkman in Smallville.

Hmm, Franz Drameh's Jay Jackson character wasn't in the trailer., as far as I could tell. They are really trying to keep that one under wraps, aren't they?

Ray shrinks! Ray shrinks!

All psyched to see Hawkgirl in next week's The Flash finale.

Between this trailer, the one for Supergirl and the general awesomeness of The Flash's freshman season, I'm enthusiastic about DC's television universe. Now, we just need to get Arrow back on track.

Agreed! Arrow needs to refocus and get back to its Season 1 and 2 awesomeness. This already looks pretty good. With Supergirl looking like the nerd's Ally McBeal (and also looking good), I think this fall's going to be pretty dang awesome.

Looks like we'll have the Flash and the Arrow "normally" then have these shows in the mid-season. Good, because I didn't watch enough TV apparently.

Wow.  A team of characters I have never heard of.  Color me not interested.
AS may be as much a representation of the Battletech universe as the original tabletop game is, but if you tell someone "I'm playing Battletech" chances are, if they know what that is, they're going to take you to mean the original tabletop game. - Steve Restless

Yeah, that is honestly what I thought would be the case.

Other than hawkgal, the rest have been heard of in the arrow or flash shows.

Hawkgirl got a blink-and-you-miss-it reference in Wells' future newspaper a few episodes back.

Rip Hunter is the one that hasn't been seen or mentioned in either of the existing shows. Well, him and whatever new character Franz Drameh will be playing.

Actually Rip got a shout out in the Flash finale, sort of like Hawkgirl.

Yeah, they are using minor characters from Arrow & Flash . . . I wonder which city it will be in?  And will Captain Cold still be pulling the occasional job- the trailer bit showed him helping out that team.  If Cold goes, what about Golden Glider . . .

Yes he did, but at the time he hadn't. So no "actually" needed, thank you.

And Hawkgirl showed up in the finale in her civilian appearance, which was a cool little easter egg.

Maybe she stays on the flash, as a romantic interest for Sisco.

'I have seen Men of Steel die and Dark Knights fall' . . . nice line.  This looks even better, seems we might have some twisty time fun.

Wonder why they decided to include Hawkman in that one when he was not mentioned in others.

Uh... Hawkman is showing up next week. Next weeks episodes of Flash and Arrow are Legends of Yesterday and Legends of Today, essentially the setup for Legends of Tomorrow.

Really? Never heard of The Atom? Hawkman and Hawkgirl? Captain Cold? Firestorm? While these are not
Batman, Superman, and Wonderwoman, you have 4 Justice League of Americas characters, and one
villian for the Flash. Frankly, only way to have not heard of these is either: A) you only do the New 52,
or B) You are a Marvel Fan.
