I'm sorry about my lack of knowledge in this game but can someone explain me what's the différence between battleforce and battletech ?
It is the rule in war, if ten times the enemy's strength, surround them; if five times, attack them; if double, be able to divide them; if equal, engage them; if fewer, be able to evade them; if weaker, be able to avoid them.
All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.

Battletech is the standard game you probably know and love. Battleforce is designed to let you play larger scale engagements with a bunch of "units". Each "unit" on the map represents a lance/star/Level II of mechs, tanks, infantry, etc. Gameplay is pretty similar, but the combat aspect is simplified to make the games run faster and be easier to keep track of. The BattleForce minis are smaller scale (probably around Proto-mech scale I think), and the idea is to be able to fit 4,5, or 6 in a hex or on a hex-base at a time.

A bit disappointing so much time is used for House Liao sets and starter packs.   :(

Rather see more new sculpts or a way overdue OTL-7M and OTL-8M.  Heck, you could add the OTL-9R to that lot.

Ostwar (based on XTRO Primitives or JHS...not that gods-awful 3085 image), Onager, Von Rohrs, Peacekeeper (with variant arm) and a Rook would be preferred instead of re-releases consolidate in new packaging.

Some potential purchases...depending on the results of the sculpts.

yeah i'm not to big on the battle force starter packs either, and it sucks that they couldn't slot some noew mechs in there to, but there should theoretically be some cool IWM online releases to hold us over

BURNING CHROME:  WHERE oh WHERE did you find the artwork of that Battledroid?
and, since this is the IWM thread...
WHEN oh WHEN will IWM reissue those?
They aren't lawsuit bait, are they?

The following are planned, but not solicited yet so may be subject to change...

yeah nice list yadda, yadda, neat things....

20-5021  Karhu KHU-R1 Mech   (TRO 3085 – 65 ton)

What must I do, or how much money is needed to get this beauty out in the real world sooner?  :)

That would be a question for Sawbones. As those are fan financed and going to be web store only releases as far as I can remember, so they don't show up on this list at all.

I'm really hoping he gets back on here soon and re-posts the update to the fan financed stuff.

Or sell/trade them to other members of your group. I'm sure somebody you know would have a use for a Prefect, T-Bolt, or Osprey...

Typo? Should be 75 ton.

It wouldn't be the first time.  The label on the Flamberge mini identifies it as a 50 tonner, and then there's the Trampage.

i'm almost 100% sure that this was one of the mechs that Insane Kangaroo and AFG had the ok on to resculpt along with the highlander. it was part of a poll a while back now

Getting the okay, and getting it done are two different things.  Note that the listing says "re-issue" and not "resculpt". If you're expecting a resculpt, you will be disappointed.
