The Tetatae from the novel Far Country

This is more of a general question (and a pretty odd one) to any writer who reads this rather to than anybody in particular... !

If a sudden corporate hostile takeover of Topps led to somebody new there taking over responsibility for supervising how you guys use their licensed intellectual property...

and that person had somehow ended up reading Far Country many years ago, but knew little or nothing else about BT...

and they mistakenly thought it was a typical representation of the BT Universe...

and they insisted that they wanted it revisited and integrated better into the BTU...

and they just would not listen to any argument about why that might be a bad idea...

and they demanded that you start by putting the Tetatae homeworld somewhere on a revised version one of the huge-scale maps of this part of the galaxy in the Interstellar Expeditions Sourcebook...

where would you put it?

Ever felt that The Powers That Were at FASA, WizKids and FanPro never gave Victor Steiner-Davion and the Federated Commonwealth a fair shake in the canon timeline? Then you might be interested in my Victor Victorious AU at

I’d put it a couple jumps from Terra. Go big or go home.

That would raise the question of why it takes a freak super-jump that only occurs when somebody happens to activate their K-F Drive on top of an unsuspected flaw in the fabric of spacetime, which only occurs an average of once every 500 years, to reach the place... !

And now we know where Fortress tech came from..
If you’re going to make it a major part of the universe, make it major.

How would the RotS be able to learn anything from this flaw in the fabric of spacetime when neither of the only two ships known to have ever had the misfortune to encounter it ever came back?

You stated  “and they just would not listen to any argument about why that might be a bad idea... ”.  Any arguement you make would be ignored by your hypothetical.

Because the third ship came back.  ^-^
