I'm all for keeping it simple. Lance/star each. If it is a short game, we can grab new minis and play another game.

Keeping it simple is probably for the best.  I just played my first AS with vehicles last week.  Haven't touched infantry yet.

Just a heads up as I offered to bring some terrain to help with the AS later this month.  Not certain I'm going to make it now.  I know I will be in the area, however it might end up being at the Ren Faire instead due to other people's schedules that weekend.

It figures that a second BattleTech game would come together right at the point in my life when, thanks to a newborn, a trip to get diapers feels like this:

I can't be there on the 20th, but my ability to make future games will grow in direct proportion to my daughter.

I am not going to be able to make it tomorrow. Dad was in the hospital earlier in the week and I just got home from PA. Sorry for the last minute change.

Highly possible for me as I'd not have to deal with the traffic from the football game.

I'm running an AS game on Sunday the 18th.  it is on the print store calendar for G&S, it was not on the online version last time I checked.

D'oh! I scheduled a Classic BT game up at Bel Air Games for that same date, 1 p.m. if anyone's interested.

I made a point to check the G&S Calendar online for conflicts, but didn't see anything...

Paul, are you running any CBT at Glen Burnie this month?

Nope. I'll try to start a Solaris 7 mini campaign in November, but nothing for October.

The solution is just ignore Paul.

Sounds interesting.  Would this being using the old box set rules or something else?

Normal BT rules, but with the Solaris campaign rules. More on that soon.

So would any of you be interested in teaching a complete beginner the basics?  I've got the Battletech starter set and that's all.

If anyone is interested, I'm running a simple BT game (hexes, not Alpha Strike) at Bel Air Games in Bel Air, MD (Harford County) next Sunday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m.

Starting with Classic, might becide to do some huge battles with AS later though.

Also starting with 3025 tech only, but I would like to get some campiagns going & possibly add experimental tech, like in The Sword & The Dragon, as it goes along.

Mostly want to get a regular group going & see what everyone wants out of it.

I might be interested. I'm just getting into the game as in my first ever game is scheduled for two weeks from now but a regular game sounds good if you don't mind shepherding a complete beginner for a while.
