A mech is hit, external armor of side torso gets depleted, the internal gets depleted until side torso is destroyed. Will torso rear armor stay put?  Will arm remain attached? Is arm usable?  Logic tells me rear armor will keep arm attached and arm should keep working.  A good design would make control lines to allow that.

Internal ammo explosion.  It should damage internal armor, once depleted, will it damage external armor or it should propagate via internal armor to other locations? Logic tells me a good design should damage external armor, and there should be no internal armor propagation.

1: The moment a location's last internal structure dot is filled in, the entire location is gone, including any remaining armor facings. Arms attached to a now-lost side torso immediately fall to the ground.

2: Ammo explosions ignore all armor when the damage transfers from one location to another. It goes straight from structure to structure, no armor between them.
