Title: (Answered) Marksman SPA and targeting computer
Post by: Cyclonus13 on 07 December 2019, 22:54:16
I’ve read the entry for the Marksman (and Sharpshooter) Special pilot ability several times and I need a bit of clarification.

In Campaign Operations page 77, and a time of war page 220

Under the abilities description it states that the ability can be combined with a targeting computer or enhanced imagery. Using such devices give a 2 point modifier on the Aimed shot.

1. Does this mean 1 point each for computer and imagery
2. A flat 2 for using either targeting aid, bonuses don’t stack.
3. The craziest option (and the one my group’s player is pulling for) a 4 point modifier with stacking bonuses. I flat out rejected this idea but he is being insistent.

You get the -1 from each, for a total of -2.
