(Answered) Punching behind you
« on: 08 February 2020, 11:28:05 »
Hello, I was in a Battletech game and my mech was right behind a enemy Mech and he torso twits to the right to fire and then did a punch at my mech that was behind him. I thought that the way the feet were facing was the direction the phy attack is made

p.145 TW:
"All punch attacks must be made against targets in the attacking ’Mech’s forward or side firing arcs. If the target is in the right or left arc, only the right or left arm, respectively, may punch."

By torso-twisting, the side arc would go over the hexes directly behind the 'Mech, permitting a punch with 1 arm.
