Operations Guerrero
« on: 26 January 2011, 11:06:15 »
I've been finding myself increasingly drawn to the FWL of late, and was wondering what's the best published source for info on Guerrero.  There's not much in the Marik Housebook.  I've ntoiced that the FMs seem to have some info if you comb through the units, but I was wondering if there's anyplace its all pulled together.  I've recently read through Historical Brush Wars again and really hope Guerrero gets that kind of treatment someday.

Cheers,

The late, great Albatross put together a compilation of all official data on the conflict.  Is it still up on Housemarik.net?

Housemarik.net died some time ago, and as far as I know his work was lost with it.

Shattered Sphere is a useful source, also.

Thanks for the link!

Shattered Sphere is a useful source, also.

How detailed is the info in Shattered Sphere?  In fact, how good is that book in general?  It looks like the PDF is only $7.50.

Kind of slow, and the pictures seem to be a mix between works and doesn't work, but at least the text is accessible.

This is kinda neat, but unfortunately a lot of the good stuff required being logged in to see.

First post since the Grid Whiteout... heh.  :D

A good source for Guerrero is actually on sarna.net. All the information from all the possible sources appears to have been combined into some good articles.

There's specific info on the conflict itself, buried in both the FWL and Confederation write-ups, as well as some additional material scattered throughout. Basically, the book serves as a snapshot of the Inner Sphere in the early 3060's.

Maybe I'll hold off for Era Report 3062 then and keep my fingers crossed.
