Harmony Gold no longer has any say in our decisions, however, the original mechs have been redesigned enough to not cause problems.

It has always been part of the lore that planets where wiped off the map during the Succession Wars but this is possibly the first time I have ever seen a visual representation of just how much was destroyed.

Amazing yet harrowing.

I just wish we had more accurate data on when planets were colonized and died off. It would have made this map timeline even more enjoyable.

This data is based on the SUCs data which is mined directly from the various maps produced for sourcebooks. So while not year by year I think it's as accurate as we can get.

This data is based on the SUCs data which is mined directly from the various maps produced for sourcebooks. So while not year by year I think it's as accurate as we can get.

Hence my comment. The maps are nice, but watching hundred of worlds go poof all at once when we know they should have gone poof over X number of years makes me sad.

While impossible, it would still be nice to have the information in canon form.

That's a pretty awesome map, thanks for sharing!

I agree with the intensity of seeing the demise of the RWR collapse, but what I found equally remarkable was the big interior colonisation of the Lyran Commonwealth during the age of the Star League. I think I never though about it. Although by comparing maps dating from the foundation of the Star League and its end or the early Succession Wars Era, it becomes clear that the information was out there.

But I never read about it. To me, it looks like the LC gained at least two thirds of its systems during that period, perfectly peaceful and without conquest.

They almost all do that. If you look closely, the great houses more or less take shape by the time the SL forms but then the amount of colonized systems increases dramatically inside those borders. You also see them thin out quite a bit as the succession wars rage on.
