Planets of City-States?

Based on another thread . . . what planets in the periphery are split up politically?  This would be independent planets of course, but due to the way they are split up into different polities it opens up some options for raids that does not exist in when a faction has access to space.

All I can think of is . . .

Astrokaszy (before Rim Commonality took them late 3000s)
Antallos (before Raven's clean up)
Randis

Novo Franklin would be another. It's also called the Franklin Fiefs.

Herotitus too is divided between the New Hedons and a more puritanical faction.

Actually several Froc Reaches worlds were noted as being internally divided between Taurian and Canopian factions leading to no end of headaches for the Colonial Marshals

Politically divided is a bit different than the situations on Astrokaszy and Antallos . . . at least at present.  The two locations I cited the warlords would go to war against each other so you had the possibility of campaigns where dropships were not used- or if one appeared it could be a strategic game changer.

I think any claim of "taking" Astrokaszy is suspect at best.  That world DEFINES ungovernable.

Randis is fully under the control of the Brotherhood of Randis IIRC.

There are mention of some ex-RWR worlds. Ptolemy IV C (Rosetta) is divided in cities i think.

Solaris VII is actually an independent world in Lyran space, with a multitude of local factions patterned after the Great Houses.
At least until Clan Wolf came a-knockin'.

No. Solaris is a Lyran planet. In Solaris City they have what is essentially embassy style neighborhoods (they are technically under the governance of their respective empires). The warrior trilogy mentions the planetary and Lyran police don’t go there cause no one will listen/allow them there.

Outside of the city there is generally less law and order but any there is is provided by the official Lyran government

Would New St. Andrews count? It is divided into several Clans and they have a Clan council to rule the planet. Or perhaps the Mica Majority?
