Anything I should know about resin?

I've got four resin miniatures coming my way in the near future, but I've only ever worked with plastic and metal miniatures.

Anything I should know or look out for when painting or assembling them?
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

You'll want to wash them with dish soap before assembly. Other than that, if you clean any mold lines off, be aware that resin dust is not good to inhale, so wear a dust mask and have ventilation. Superglue works fine for assembly, but the pieces will likely be more fragile than metal or plastic.

It can be very fragile as well.  Be very careful when holding, gluing and handling.
