Fire marker placement

Hi all,

We couldn't figure out exactly where to place fire markers from unintentionally lit fires (Unit in partial cover missed by a margin of 1-2)

- Is the marker placed on the terrain itself directly in front of the defender? Or can the marker be placed anywhere between the attacker and the defender?

Reference is Alpha Strike manual P100.

Unless specified, it should be centered on the targeted unit. But if you want to add variety, use the artillery scatter rules and just place it in base contact with the target unit. This is obviously a houserules option...  :thumbsup:

Ok that makes sense. I think we’re going to houserule this one and make fire markers a 1D6 scatter.
