Is there a format or set of export options on SSW or MegaMekLab or some other program that are considered standard for posting a 'mech on the forums? And how does one make those nifty little code boxes everyone uses?

On SSW, go to the tools menu, and click "show text TRO format" to get the right format.  To use the code box, click the button over the emoticons with the "#" button.  Hope this helps!
