I also feel like noting hating the Combine if you're fedsuns isn't unreasonable. The Combine practices genocide as a matter of state policy. The Combine's actions on New Avalon where Genocide for example

I'm not touching that in detail for Rule 4 reasons but will leave it at there's no such thing as justified racial profiling.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

I am surprised that no one has even considered the Covenant Worlds yet. Then there is Stewart.

Be good to get the Dragoons back and the Sirian Lancers.

Aside from the Augustine Arquebusiers, are there any FWL units known to incorporate large amounts of ex-Republic equipment in the IlClan era?

There's a mostly forgotten blip of lore that make it sound like the Alliance Patriots, the main unit of Senatorial Alliance before it was annexed, had a core of Triarii deserters.

But there's no follow up and I would need to see what happened to the Patriots when the region was annexed

due to their proximity to former republic worlds, the Covenant Guards and Silver Hawk Irregulars would draw from RotS-built mechs more heavily than others.

They were not all on Helm, it was a mixed force but most were on Stewart.  The Irregulars fought their way off Stewart (Last Charge), to include one of the guys that survived Helm who had a neuro glitch.  Veterans of the fighting against the Wolves & Lyrans were part of the neo League's assault on Atreus, Nikol was the one who sought them out which is how you knew the glitch guy was still alive.

The SHI also form a big part of Empire Alone.
