Trying for a complete shot in the dark here on getting something answered these days...
I have a question about the Advanced Point Defense Rules, namely the interaction between an AMS bay and a launch bay of sub-cap/capital missiles.
A hypothetical single bay of 7 AR-10s firing a salvo of 7 Kraken class missiles for a full on 70 pt capital scale strike encounters a combined point defense screen of 30 AMS guns (just say 10 from the target ship and 20 more from accompanying escorts in close formation).
Does the following happen:
A) The bay attack suffer a -9 to hit as the AMS battery dishes out it's 90 pts of damage?
B) The first Kraken in the flight suffers the -9 to hit (and all but guaranteed to miss) and the other 6 cruise on in unopposed and unmodified by the to-hit roll?
C) Something else?
I know this is a bit over the top for an example but for the interaction between a single AMS bay and some of the warships and pocket warships that mount multiple sub-cap/capital missile launchers in a single bay in the cause of this minor conflict in the reading of the rules.
